Dr. Curry

DVM

Dr. Melanie Curry has spent 33 years covered in fur, slobber, and the occasional mystery stain - but she wouldn't have it any other way. Veterinary medicine isn't just her career, it's been her calling as far back as she can remember. After spending 12 years in Texas wrangling cattle (and the elusive feral cat), she moved to West Virginia to dedicate herself to small animal care where she is committed to improving the lives of pets and strengthening the human-animal bond.

A graduate of Texas A&M University, Dr. Curry has a special interest in internal medicine, client education, and preventative medicine. Passionate about continuous learning, she stays up-to-date on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine, always striving to provide the best possible care.

As a cancer survivor, Dr. Curry understands firsthand the comfort and healing power of pets. She shares her love of animals with her family, including their two French Bulldogs, Ross and Louie, and their Scottish Terrier Arte - who rule the house with an iron (but adorable) paw. When she's not in the clinic, you can find her cooking, reading, and indulging in her fascination with true crime.

With decades of experience, a compassionate heart, and a well-worn lint roller always within reach, Dr. Curry remains dedicated to giving every pet the healthiest, happiest life possible.
